Prayer Shawl Ministry
This ministry is comprised of a group of women from the parish who knit or crochet prayer shawls and lap robes to be given to the ill or troubled in our community. The ladies work at home and bring their finished pieces to the meetings, which are held periodically. Each piece is prayed over during construction and also by every member of the committee, then blessed during a weekend Mass. Each shawl has a miraculous medal attached and comes with a prayer card. These shawls have brought much needed comfort to many people since its inception in 2010. To join this ministry or obtain a shawl for someone, please contact the rectory at 231-2220
